1.) Dell XPS 13 7390 2-in-1 Review

Best Laptops 2022

When Dell launched their latest 13.9″ XPS in late 2016, they did not disappoint. With the latest Intel processors and a stunning design, you’ll find that this laptop is perfect for those who want to multitask while still getting the best of both worlds.

The original XPS was designed back in 2006 and was the last laptop by Dell to feature a diamond cut edge around the chassis. This design was very different from the other laptops on the market at the time and caught many people’s attention.

The square edged design of it also stands out, but it will be harder to notice when you are using it for casual gaming or casual web browsing. It has since been redesigned with a more subtle diamond cut edging that is much better-suited for mobile devices like this one.

The build quality is incredible. The Aluminium chassis makes this laptop very lightweight but also very durable. The design is much more simplistic than I was expecting, but it just looks amazing.

It’s not a flashy laptop with large coloured bezels or neon lights on the keyboard, it’s black and minimalistic and that’s exactly what I want from a high end device like this one.

The keyboard is fantastic. It’s the same keyboard as the XPS 13 3-in-1 , which was one of my favourite laptop keyboards of 2016. It has a slight texture to it so it feels nice under your fingers and has great travel and feedback. The keys have a nice, subtle Dell logo on the bottom right of them.

I did find that with such a small screen, I had to slide my finger on to get the Windows key – this is not an issue for me since I’m used to doing this with other keyboards. The trackpad was also very accurate, and I had no problems with Windows 10 interfering with it.

The build quality is superb. The chassis is aluminium, and the hinges are one of the best in this price range. It’s sturdy as seems to be the trend these days, and it can handle being used on your lap just as easily as it can being used on a desk (for gaming or internet browsing).

The laptop is well designed and makes a very pleasant sound when making contact with a hard surface like the desk or table.

The hinges are smooth and make no noise, and the laptop does not wobble when typing on the keys. The webcam is excellent for video calls, and I had no issues with software or drivers during my testing.

Like most other laptops, the XPS has a full-sized SD card slot as well as two USB 3.0 ports. It also has a Thunderbolt 3 port which is useful for connecting to an external monitor or docking station.

The laptop weighs 2.84kg and the battery lasts for 7 hours in normal usage, which is very good for a 13.3″ laptop.

The XPS 13 offers excellent performance, even when compared to other laptops with similar specs. The i7-8565U is an 8th generation Intel CPU that is based on the Kaby Lake architecture.

It offers an excellent core performance, and a good thermal management unit. This laptop also has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage which is perfect for multitasking and installing Windows. The graphics cards, the NVIDIA GeForce MX150 or the Intel UHD 620, are also great when it comes to gaming.

Games do not run as smoothly as they do on high-end GPUs such as the GTX 1060 on this machine, but I did find it to perform pretty well in most cases. I don’t think it’s a gaming laptop, but it will do for casual browsing and occasional gaming.

The NVIDIA GT 940 MX is a very good graphics card, but of course it’s not intended to play any of the latest games on ultra settings.

The battery life in normal everyday usage was excellent – I never felt like I had to plug this laptop into the power adapter to finish my work or get some extra time out of the battery. It can handle web browsing and some light word processing without charging for quite some time.

The laptop comes with a Thunderbolt 3 port which allows you to connect external displays (it also has Intel UHD 620 graphics).

My unit came with the Windows 10 Home operating system pre-installed, and I found it to be very stable. There were no issues with the drivers or software on it.

This laptop is definitely a great option if you’re looking for a very light and thin, high-end tablet. The battery life is excellent, the processor is fast enough to handle common tasks, and the screen is gorgeous.

For the price you get an aluminium chassis with some diamond-cut edging that looks amazing. The keyboard feels fantastic to type on, and it has everything you’d expect from a high-end machine with Windows 10 pre-installed. The trackpad and the speakers are also very good.

The battery life of the Surface Laptop 4 is designed to take you through the day without worry. The built-in battery serves as a backup for when your power source is low.

It can give you around 11 hours of use on a single charge. If you’re looking for more, there is an included power adapter that can help you charge up the device. The device’s charging port is on the right side near the back and it has a USB 3.0 port. You’ll be able to access this with ease when you need to charge up.

4.) Razer Blade 15 Laptop Review

-Best Laptops 2022--

The Razer Blade 15 is a cheaper but still excellent alternative to the more expensive and powerful Razer Blade Pro. This laptop comes with a powerful Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB graphics card, 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 256GB SSD, 16GB RAM, and an impressive 4K IPS 144Hz display. It also has a 60Hz refresh rate display with 3ms response time.

Yet despite its affordability, the Razer Blade 15 still offers great performance for a laptop in its price range. This laptop has a good battery life and portability as well. The laptop is thin and light, so you can easily bring it with you anywhere.

Razer seems to have taken a step in the wrong direction with this one as the Razer Blade 15 has a clunky design. It’s not terribly impressive but neither is it embarrassing or out of place. You get what you pay for, so don’t expect too much from the design of this laptop.

However, there are some things that really bug me about this device. The keyboard is somewhat loud and the vibration is not very pleasant. It also has a lot of plastic used in its design which I’m not a big fan of.

The display on the Razer Blade 15 is very good for the price and it’s a 4K IPS panel. The colors are vivid, the blacks look deep, and there are no noticeable back light bleeding nor any dead pixels.

You can also adjust the brightness and contrast settings as well to fit your needs. The laptop also has 3ms response time and 60Hz refresh rate, which is good enough for most gamers.

The only issue I have with the display on this laptop is the glossy finish but that’s not actually a big deal. The display can get pretty bright and you can still use it outdoors.

Gaming Performance

The Razer Blade 15 is great for gaming but it’s not as strong as the more expensive Razer Blade Pro. This laptop comes with a powerful GTX 1060 6GB graphics card which is good enough for most titles out there.

I had around 60 frames per second average on most games at ultra settings but this will vary depending on your settings and resolution.

The laptop also has a 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and 256GB SSD. You can use the extra RAM to do some serious multitasking without any hiccups.

Keyboard and Touchpad

The keyboard on the Razer Blade 15 has a good key travel and decent feedback. However, the laptop has a clunky sound when you type on it. It’s not the most comfortable keyboard I’ve ever used as it doesn’t feel natural to me.

The touchpad is also decent but nothing spectacular. I don’t have any issues with it but you’re still better off using an external mouse most of the time.

Battery Life

Razer is one of the few gaming laptop manufacturers that actually offers decent battery life. The Razer Blade 15 has a 60Wh battery which is enough to keep the laptop running for around 3 hours under moderate usage.

The battery life will vary based on your usage and you can easily get over four hours after moderate usage if the laptop does not power off while in sleep mode.

Other Features

The Razer Blade 15 also comes with Killer Wireless 802.11AC Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1. It also has one USB 3.1 gen 2 Type C, two USB 3.1 gen 1 Type A ports, and HDMI out port as well.

The keyboard can be operated by putting your fingers on the numberpad instead of a dedicated button. It is also quite thin and light so it’s easy to carry around and take with you anywhere you go.

In terms of software, the laptop has an Xbox app for Windows 10 that allows you to use your Xbox One controller with a PC. It also comes with Razer Synapse 2.0 for customizing your gaming experience and Chroma lighting effects.

Wrap Up

The Razer Blade 15 is one of the best laptops you can find in its price range. It performs very well and it’s great for gaming despite its flaws in design and aesthetics. If you can accept these compromises then this laptop should suit your needs very well.

When buying a laptop, you should always consider the following: your budget, your intended use case, and the weight of the laptop. If you’re buying for use at home or school, then size is more important than weight.

That being said, there are plenty of factors to take into consideration before making a purchase. In conclusion, this article will help you pick out Best Laptops 2022 for your needs.

According to statistics from the Consumer Reports, laptops are the most popular purchase for college students and young adults. Laptops have become a crucial tool for both school and work. In the 21st century, laptops have gone from a luxury item to a necessity.
